You might like both or hate one of those games, you'll never know. That's like comparing Rimworld and CS:GO. I'd say you'll see if you like the game or not in your first 40-50~ hours.Įarlier than that might not be really in good faith to the game and considering you have a some hours into Dota this amount of hours in PZ probably shouldn't be a lot to you.Īnd as someone who share a lot of similiar most played games in Steam, all I have to say PZ is just really different. Mostly it's about entertaining yourself and creating your own difficult you might like no matter how hard or easy it might me. Combat is not as in-depth as lets say Dark Souls or Dota 2, but there's small things here and there that take some skill, it's not 100% braindead, just a bit janky and takes practice also. There's stuff you'll need to grind, a lot of mechanics that are not well explained so you'll need to be interested enough to google them and generally there's tons of things to learn if you want to get "good". It's a hardcore (one life), zombie survival simulator. Right click on the mug, and you should have the option to make one. Beware that it is not easy and there is no story. There are many ways to get ill in Project Zomboid. Main difference with difficult games you've liked is that it's not a session based multiplayer game and it's not a save system based singleplayer experienced. If you are looking for a top down zombie survival game then this game should be right up your street. You can make it a toddler game or make it literally unplayable for even the most hardcore PZ players there are. There's a small chance you might like it based on the fact you've played Terraria for 150~ hours, but this is indeed one of those games where you mostly entertain yourself, so if you don't really like Minecraft's gameplay loop, there's a lower chance you're going to like it in PZ.Īnd PZ can get as easy or difficult as you like.
